Millennial Youth looks forward to your submissions of comic strips, political/editorial cartoons, reportage comics, articles, art tips, artist profiles, tutorials and reviews. To increase your chances of being published, please pay attention to our guidelines. Note that while comic strips and cartoons may be submitted on spec, we prefer to receive a pitch for reportage comics and article, such as art tips, artist profiles, and reviews, etc.
COMICS AND CARTOON SUBMISSIONS
- Comic/ cartoon dimensions
One row comic strip: 9.5in X 2.25in
Two row comic strip: 9.5in by 5in
Single panel comic/cartoon: 7in x 7in
- Image delivery
Comics should be delivered as Illustrator or Photoshop files or else as 300dpi tiff files. - Name/logo
The comic should include the comic’s name or logo embedded within the space of the strip. - Other
The artist should also provide an 80 pixel by 80 pixel thumbnail image (either a headshot or logo for your comic) and a brief description of your comic — if it is an ongoing comic — or a brief bio — if it is a one-shot comic. If you would like to call attention to a website, send a link.
REPORTAGE COMICS
How excited would we be to receive a reported article expressed as a comic strip! Please pitch first with your idea.
ARTICLES
Email us with your ideas for an article on topics related to anything comics, including artist profiles, tutorials, art tips and reviews.
