Lori Cullen

Publisher

Lori is a writer who creates relevant and engaging content for world-class publishers of financial and business information. She has spent years training middle and high school journalists whose articles have been published or featured in a variety of media including the Times Union, Chicago Tribune, National Public Radio and Nickelodeon’s Nick News with Linda Ellerbee.

Darrell Kirton

Editorial Director

Darrell has 18 years of publishing experience as a writer and an editor. After joining the Hearst Corporation in 1994 as assistant editor of MotorBoating & Sailing magazine, he spent 11 years as a senior editor at Custom Solutions from SmartMoney. Currently, Darrell is a senior editor at Dow Jones.

Maria Stoodley

Art Director

Maria worked at the Albany Times Union newspaper for more than a decade, directing and designing detail-oriented print material. Her work has garnered numerous state and national awards.

John Strobel

Senior Editor

Before retiring, John enjoyed a career as a copy editor/news editor that spanned more than four decades. During this time, he worked at the New York Times, Los Angeles Times/Washington Post, Long Beach Independent/Press-Telegram and the Honolulu Advertiser. John was also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Hawaii for 25 years, where he taught editing, writing and reporting. In addition to authoring three manuals on various aspects of newspaper production, he has been the editor or co-editor on more than a dozen books.

Allegra Cullen

Co-editor-in-chief, Millennial Youth magazine

Allegra became interested in journalism primarily as a way to improve her writing, which working with top-notch writers at the Times Union newspaper in Albany, NY helped her to do. When she is not in school, you’ll most likely find her on top of a mountain–with snow or without–enjoying her favorite sports, snowboarding and rock climbing.

Andrew Cullen

Co-editor-in-chief, Millennial Youth magazine

Andrew loves all things technology, especially social media, web technologies and the ways that youth use the Internet.  His interests include snowboarding and business.

Chris Finn

Motion Graphics Designer

Chris is a media artist who works primarily with motion and graphic design, as well as film and 3D animation. His short films have been accepted into numerous film festivals including the Westport Youth Film festival, Woodstock Film festival, and Toronto Student Film festival. Chris is studying Motion Media Design at Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, GA and hopes to make a career for himself in the media arts.

Nicole Mannino

Comics Editor

Nicole’s main interest is comics: drawing, writing and reading them. If she’s not doing something comic-related, it means she’s living it up as either a student or tech worker on campus. She loves anything bright, energetic and fun.
